INSTITUTE OF BANKING PERSONNEL SELECTION (IBPS) PO (MT) 2013 SYLLABUS: The syllabus of any exam is an important aspect that the candidate must know in advance in order to give path to the exam preparation. SBI PO Syllabus

SBI PO Syllabus: State Bank of India conducts its probationary officer exam every year for eligible candidates. The guidelines regarding SBI PO Syllabus for candidates preparing for SBI PO exam is mentioned below.

SBI PO Syllabus details:

SBI PO Syllabus is of two ways as 1.Written test and 2.Group Discussion and Interview.

1. Written test: This test is of 2 papers as
a. Objective paper: This paper consists of 4 sections such as
1. Test of English Language.
2. Test of General Awareness., Marketing and Computers
3. Test of data analysis and interpretation.
4. Test of Reasoning.

b. Descriptive Paper: This paper is of comprehension, short précis, letter writing and essay.

2. Group discussion and Interview: Candidate who have qualified in the written examination will be called for group discussion and interview depending up on the vacancies in each category, subject to maximum of 3 times of the vacancies.

Ans: Objective paper is of 4 sections as Test of English Language, Test of General Awareness, Marketing and Computers, Test of data analysis and interpretation and Test of Reasoning.

2. What is the syllabus for descriptive paper?
Ans: Descriptive paper is of comprehension, short précis, letter writing and essay.

3. Clerical Aptitude paper is there?
Ans: Generally clerical aptitude paper won’t be for PO exam and it will be Clerical exam.

SBI clerk exam pattern 2013 Details :

SBI clerk exam consists of total 5 sections. They are

1>General Awareness

2>.General English

3>Quantitative Aptitude

4>Reasoning Ability

5>Marketing Aptitude/Computer knowledge

Each section consist of 40 questions and each question carry one mark

So total sbi clerk exam will be have 200 questions and valued for 200 marks.

Interview Marks:

Personal interview of sbi clerk exam consists of 35 marks .based on the scores in written exam and interview final selection of the candidate will be decided.

Negative marks Rule :

There will be a penalty for for wrong answers. For each wrong answer 0.25 marks will deducted from the total marks secured by the candidate.

Question paper Language :

Sbi clerk written examination question paper will come in both Hindi and English languages (except english section) . Minimum passing percentages would be relaxed upto 5% for reserved category (SC/ST/PWD/EXSM/OBC) candidates

Qualifying marks :

SBI clerk Qualifying marks details . Candidate has to qualify in each section and as well as get marks above the minimum qualifying marks decided by the SBI after the examination. These qualifying marks are decided based on the number of candidates appeared for sbi clerk exam and  highest marks secured by the there is no pre defined structure for qualifying marks in sbi clerk exam.

Candidates who secured marks above the qualifying marks only called for interview.
